Grandma's Famous Mini Cocktail Meatballs

At any family holiday gathering, everyone would always coming expecting (or asking) for Grandma's mini cocktail meatballs. This is a great appetizer for any occasion. Simple and yet delicious, it will remind you of a 70's area style of home cooking.

- Shape sausage into very small, bite-sized balls.
- Over medium heat, brown the sausage balls (easier done half at a time) in a large skillet until browned (but not fully cooked) for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the sausage balls and drain off all fat from the skillet.
- Return the sausage balls to the skillet and add all other ingredients except for pineapple chunks. Cover and bring to a simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add pineapple chunks and simmer for a few minutes more, or until sausage is cooked through.
- Serve immediately, or reheated with reserved pineapple juice to loosen, with toothpicks.
