Hawaiian Style Mac Salada

This mac salad is simple, delicious, and the perfect side dish! It’s a staple in Hawaiian cuisine that's pure and unpretentious.

Directions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Rinse under cold water, drain well, and place in a large bowl.
  2. Add apple cider vinegar, shredded carrots, and shredded onion and stir until combined.
  3. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise , milk, and sugar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fold the mayo mixture into the macaroni until all the noodles are evenly coated.
  6. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours if doing it the same day).
  7. Gently stir before serving.
